SCISSOR WARRIOR – Lifetime Warranty Policy

(Official Warranty for MICHIKO SELECT Series & All Scissor Warrior Shears)

1. Lifetime Warranty Overview

Every Scissor Warrior shear is backed by a Lifetime Warranty covering all manufacturing defects.
We stand behind the craftsmanship of our Japanese-made shears and guarantee long-term performance for professional stylists and barbers.

This warranty reflects our commitment to quality, safety, and the trust of our customers.

2. What the Lifetime Warranty Covers

Your Scissor Warrior shear is protected against:

Manufacturing defects
Material defects (steel imperfections, heat-treatment defects)
Structural issues related to normal professional use
Rivet / screw instability caused by manufacturing

If a defect is confirmed, we will repair or replace the shear at no charge.

3. What the Warranty Does Not Cover

The Lifetime Warranty does not apply to:

Damage caused by drops or impact
Rust or corrosion from improper storage
Normal wear and tear from regular professional use
Blade dullness due to extended use (sharpening is separate)
Damage caused by unauthorized sharpening or DIY repairs
Cosmetic scratches or minor surface marks

If damage is caused by incorrect use or external impact, paid repair options are available.

4. Free Sharpening (Optional Add-On)

While sharpening is not included in the Lifetime Warranty, Scissor Warrior offers professional sharpening services exclusively for Japanese shears.

Stylists can request sharpening anytime through our service page.

5. How to File a Warranty Claim

To request a warranty inspection:

Provide your order number or serial number (all Michiko shears have individual serial codes).
Describe the issue and attach photos/video.
Send your request to:

Our team will respond within 24–48 hours.

If the shear needs physical inspection, we will provide shipping instructions.

6. Warranty Process

Once your shear is received:

Our technician inspects the product.
If the issue is covered by the warranty → repair or replacement is free.
If the issue is not covered → a repair quote will be provided.
Shears are returned within 3–5 business days.

7. Serial Number Protection System

All MICHIKO shears include a unique serialized engraving, and Scissor Warrior manages the registration internally.
This ensures:

Customer protection
Authentic product verification
Accurate warranty tracking

8. Warranty Limitations

Warranty applies to the original purchaser only.
Warranty is valid for shears purchased directly from Scissor Warrior or authorized partners.
Unauthorized resellers or second-hand purchases are excluded.
