Before You Choose — Thinners & Texturizers
• Longevity: Thinners/texturizers are often used for 10–15+ years—it's worth choosing a high-quality tool.
• MO Series (Eyeglass handle): Thinners = T40 / T302 / T253 · Texturizers = T165 / T147 / T138 / T1010 / T14.
• Teeth & grooves: Tooth count and the number/shape of grooves at the tooth tips differ by model. Except T40 and T14, most MO models use oblique, wave-like grooves enabling slide thinning (similar to slide cutting). A bit of practice is recommended.
• Note: Models with T40-style grooves cannot perform slide thinning.
